How to report and what the rules are

In-app reports, the DSA form, copyright, and the core Community Guidelines

1 min readUpdated for the current Astral app

Astral’s rules apply everywhere: DMs, communities, voice, streams, and profiles — for people, bots, and Plutonium subscribers. A community may be stricter, never softer. Full text: Community Guidelines.

How to report

  1. Open the menu on a message, profile, or channel → Report.
  2. Pick a reason and submit. That routes the report to the right queue faster.
  3. EU users can also flag illegal content under the DSA at astraof.com/report. See EU DSA Dispute Resolution Options.

Copyright and trademarks: the Intellectual Property option or dmca@astraof.com. Guide: Astral Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

Vulnerabilities go only to the security page / security@astraof.com, not to regular support.

Instant bans

Harm to children, terror and murder threats, WMD instructions, trafficking and stolen data, malware and attacks. Many of these cases are referred to authorities.

Harassment, hate, doxxing, blackmail, and unsolicited sexual content can mean a warning, limits, or a ban.

Appeals

The deadline and link are in the enforcement email. DSA-covered decisions have an internal appeal window of six months. Account mail: support@astraof.com.
