Themes and appearance

Open User Settings → Look & Feel. Themes and CSS do not require Plutonium.

Presets

Dark, Coal, Green, Gray, Blue, Sunset, Night Sky, Purple, Orange, Magenta, Orchid, Coral, Lime, Solar, Light, and System (follow the OS). You can also pick a custom accent.

Sync theme across devices is off for System and for some local-only palettes (they stay on this client).

Custom look

• Message gradients and a wallpaper behind the transcript.
• Tokens: gradient start / middle / end, angle 0–360°, glow 0–100%.
• Custom CSS, for example :root { --background-primary: #1E1E2F; }.
• Share this theme uploads the CSS; the other person opens {media}/themes/{id}.css and accepts it.

Reset restores the selected theme’s defaults.

Messages and interface (desktop)

• Comfy or Dense, with an option to hide avatars in Dense.
• Chat font 12–24 px (default 16), group spacing 0/4/8/16/24.
• Window zoom 50–200%.
• Typing indicators in the channel list, classic community rail or the experimental dock panel.
